Three Ways to Volunteer
TEAM TACO
Fish For Teeth has a dedicated taco team that serves Fish Tacos three time a year in January, May and October and always on a Friday. Many of our team members help three times a year because it is fun and rewarding each time, but sometimes other commitments come up. This is an opportunity for any enthusiastic Fish For Teeth supporter to throw on an apron and help serve tacos while the Toothmobile is here fixing people's teeth. You can help anytime from 10:30 to 2:00, and/or an hour of clean-up/take-down afterward. Even if you can't help, be sure an come by for one of our delicious fish tacos made with Matt's Alaskan rockfish, Pablito's fresh salsa and love, all for a $7.00 donation. TEAM TOOTH
Fish For Teeth has a dedicated team that helps organize the dental van event. This is a two-day extravaganza every January, May, and October and always on the Friday of the taco selling event and the following Saturday. Team Tooth is comprised of staff to organize the patients and dental professionals. Please contact us if you are interested in helping from an organizational or professional aspect. It is very helpful to have more than one person trained in an area in order maintain a calm flow when other commitments or travel interfere with timing of the Toothmobile. It is also nice to have a variety of volunteers so that volunteer time can be shared among many. Please use the contact sheet below if you are inclined to volunteer! Thank you.
ACCOMMODATION
The person driving this big van needs a two-night stay, preferably in town somewhere in a nice cozy room. We value the driver of the Medical Teams International van, which we refer to as the Toothmobile, because without them, this whole crazy idea would not be possible. If you would like to purchase a two-night stay at one of our local hotels or bed and breakfasts we would simply die of happiness. If you have a lovely guest house that you would be willing to share, we would literally go weak in the knees. We would be happy to pay for the cleaning service. We don't want anyone to go out of their way, but if you are so moved we would be ever so grateful. Please use the contact sheet to the right
